Joyful Minimalism in 2020

To start off this post I want to apologise for not posting last week. I’m recovering from the flu, and my mind just doesn’t want to work when I’m not feeling well. 😊

Now 2019 is almost at an end, I’m starting to look forward to the next decade. And there are going to be some changes.

First and foremost, up until now, I’ve treated this site as a hobby, and it showed.

Next year, I’m going to make Joyful Minimalism a priority. I have seen how much moving towards Joyful Minimalism has influenced my life, and it deserves a more prominent place in my life.

It doesn’t mean I will post more often in the week, the schedule still is firmly stuck on Fridays (unless I get sick), although I may occasionally post on other days.

The second change I’m making is that I’m going to focus more on adding photography. I’m going to share my clutter, and share my thought process when it comes to items. The reason being is that words are abstract, it’s pictures that bring the point across.

To that end, I’ve made an Instagram account for Joyful Minimalism. It’s completely blank now, as I first wanted to write this post before adding content 🙂

I will share my updates on posts there, and many other things that tie in.

The third change is that I’m going to share more resources that I find useful, either as a page or as a blog post. That way I can share what has inspired me to become a Joyful Minimalist.

I am looking forward to making my life joyful and minimal!

And to sharing my journey, of course 🙂
