When in doubt – list!

I have become a list maker.

I never used to be, until I started to bullet journal and started to see the effect in the simplicity of it.

Lately I’ve started to make lists for everything I need to do, and have become a lot more organised in the process.

I used to tackle my decluttering projects in a haphazard way, but now I first sit down and make a list, and then start tackling the project.

I do the same with work that needs to be done around the house. I have a notebook that’s dedicated to home, and I list everything in there.

I also make wish lists, lists of videos I like for certain subjects, and lists of subjects I want to write about for my blog.

It’s simple but effective, and it keeps my mind clear. If I start to worry or ponder about something, I just don’t sit pondering, I just grab my phone, ipad or a notebook, and make a list.

In this way, lists take care of a mental joyful minimalism.

And now if you’ll excuse me, I have to make a list for the decluttering of the bedroom.
